Are our books ready for a bank loan or an investor?
Which of the new tax rules apply to us, and from when?
Are our internal controls working the way we think they are?
Can we show members and donors exactly how funds were used?
Is all our fee income captured and properly reported?
What structure should my new company start with?
We sign ours only when we can stand behind it. That is what acting in public interest means to us.

Late returns attract penalties and interest. These are the dates most companies work to.
| Obligation | Due | Next due |
|---|---|---|
| PAYE remittance | 10th, monthly | |
| Withholding tax remittance | 21st, monthly | |
| VAT return and payment | 21st, monthly | |
| Employer's annual PAYE return | 31 January | |
| Company income tax return | Year-end + 6 months | See planner |
Choose your financial year-end to see the dates that follow from it.
Fieldwork and sign-off dates are our recommended timetable. Statutory dates are a general guide; confirm the rules for your entity with us.
Tell us about your organisation and your deadline. A partner will reply within one working day with next steps and a fee estimate.
We welcome graduates, ICAN students and experienced professionals who care about getting the numbers right. Send your CV to info@royaleagles.ng.
Four tax reform Acts signed on 26 June 2025 took effect on 1 January 2026: the Nigeria Tax Act, the Nigeria Tax Administration Act, the Nigeria Revenue Service (Establishment) Act and the Joint Revenue Board (Establishment) Act. Together they rewrite how companies and individuals are taxed. These are the first things we are reviewing with clients.
Our tax reform impact review looks at your structure, last year's computations and your payroll, and shows what changes in your 2026 position.
This brief is general information, not advice for your circumstances. Rates and thresholds should be confirmed against the Acts and current guidance before you act.
Most audit delays come from missing documents, not difficult accounting. A complete file shortens fieldwork, reduces back-and-forth and gets your accounts signed sooner. Have these ready at year-end:
At planning we send a tailored request list with owners and dates against each item, so your team knows exactly what is needed and when.
Members, donors and trustees give in good faith. A well-run audit shows them their gifts were used as intended, and it protects the people who handle the money.
Money given for a building project, a mission or a donor programme should be tracked separately from general offerings, from receipt to spending.
Have at least two unrelated people count every collection, record it on a signed count sheet and bank it promptly. Rotate counters.
Grant agreements often require a separate audit or a specific report format. Read the reporting clause before the year starts.
Incorporated trustees file annual returns with the Corporate Affairs Commission. Late filings can affect your standing with banks and partners.
